Palestine is still THE issue. In this moving essay from Amman in Jordan there is a desperate desire for peace with justice so that Palestinians and Jewish Israelis can build a future. The notion that Palestinians would forget what has happened and no longer yearn for their homeland has been clearly shown to be unfounded. “Exile here is like a scent you catch on the breeze. You feel it in the air, the unhealed, ongoing, unending lament and longing. Palestine hangs heavy in the air over Jordan.”
A large proportion of people living in Jordan are refugees from the Nakba in 1948 or from the 1967 war after which Israel has continuously – and brutally – occupied the West Bank, East Jerusalem, Gaza and the Golan Heights. This original wrong has to be squarely confronted if there is to be peace.
Any so-called peace deal that does not recognize Palestinian attachment to Palestine, that tries to downplay it, ignore it, shame it, mock it, belittle it, break it, minimize it, scorn it, starve it; erase it, imprison it, bribe it, breadcrumb it, genocide it, apartheid it, red-tape it into oblivion or beat it into submission will fail.

The Israeli Government and the USA Government are to blame for this illegal war with Iran. Both Governments defied International Law and made an unprovoked attack on a Country and then killed its leader and Members of his Family. And on the same day the USA fired a Tomahawk missile which hit a school killing 165 children and their teachers. While also leaving over 100 people injured. Which is a War Crime. What these 2 Governments don’t realise is that because of their Governments wanting to Dominate the Middle East With Countries picking a leader that suits both the USA and Israeli Governments they started an illegal war That is having catastrophic consequences to surround countries. Which could lead to WW3 Just so they can control the oil in that region Oil that does not belong to them. .One of the USA Goverment spokesperson said as much. When he was asked Questions about the Oil Prices going up. To which he Replied We will end this war once and for all. And take over those terrorist countries who have Oil. So now what he is insinuating by what he said.is If there is Any Country in the Middle East that has oil is a terrorist country. What these Warmongers are doing is putting Civilians from Both Israel and Iran in Danger and who are now being killed or seriously injured because of what they have done. And now Lebanon are also being attacked and will end up like Gaza flattened And that will lead to more violence and conflicts in the area. I have always said that the reason the Israeli Government Destroyed Gaza Killing over 72.000 innocent Palestinian Civilians was for the oil and Gas field discovered off the coast of Gaza in 1999. And which they could not stake any claim to.
