JVL complains again to Charity Commission over Campaign Against Antisemitism
JVL Introduction
Here is a report in the Morning Star on our latest letter to the Charity Commission, complaining about recent unacceptable actions of the Campaign Against Antisemitism.
It follows a number of other complaints we have lodged (more than the two referenced in the article).
The full text of our complaint follows the article below.

Excellent! As for the Charity Commission, I have no doubt whatsoever that it/they know EXACTLY what the CAA is… And as I mentioned (on here) and, as such, drew attention to a couple of months or so back, the CAA – when mentioning Jeremy in their black propaganda pieces – have taken to describing him as ‘the antisemite Jeremy Corbyn’, or ‘the antisemitic former leader of the Labour Party’ (at, or near, the start of the article!). Here’s a bunch of examples in which they do so, either in the headline, or in the ‘article’, or BOTH:

Oh, but it’s all so ‘educational’ isn’t it!

In very many human endeavours, “keeping on keeping on” is the only way to prevent wrongs continuing. The effort needed to keep going is huge – the perpetrators of the wrong know that and know most people and organisations will give up somewhere along the way.
Grateful thanks to JVL for “keeping on keeping on”, however painful and tedious the process is. At some unknown time in the future your efforts will hopefully be repaid by victory. We’ll all owe you grateful thanks for not giving up before that much needed, long awaited victory is achieved.
I submitted 2 complaints in 2018 and 2020. They got nowhere We have to accept that the Charity Commission is a non-governmental department, it has little autonomy and will only move is there is a concerted campaign, including direct action, against it and its offices
I agree with Tony Greenstein on this. The Charity Commission looks totally determined to ignore the obvious about CAA. Under such circumstances, I suspect that our only option is a concerted campaign that will bring this institutional failure and hypocrisy, to the attention of the public and decision-makers.
When I did a search on the CAAs website (re jeremy corbyn) to bring up the articles I linked to in my earlier post, the following article also came up in the list of results (which I saved to read later) – ie ‘Labour Party antisemitism training uses mural defended by Jeremy Corbyn as example’ and, yes, they refer to Jeremy as ‘the antisemitic former leader of the party’, and do so right at the start of the ‘article’. Anyway, in the article, the CAA – as with just about the whole of the MSM – say that Jeremy ‘defended’ the mural (so that’s TWICE already!), which is of course a Big Lie. And the very next thing they do is dissemble yet ANOTHER Big Lie – ie that the mural ‘featured’ Jewish bankers (what they actually say is that ‘the mural featured apparently-Jewish bankers’), as did most of the MSM, when in fact only two of the six figures were Jewish.
They then got it in AGAIN that Jeremy ‘defended’ the mural (yes, it’s ALL carefully crafted!), which ‘one Labour source reportedly said’, and then go on to say the following:
Other examples used in the 44-slide PowerPoint, which was announced last year and initially met with a revolt and antisemitic conspiracy theories by antisemitism-deniers in the Party, include the blood libel, The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, Nazi-era drawings, and popular internet memes.
In the above passage they link to another of their articles, which is supposedly proof that this happened – ie that it was ‘met with a revolt and antisemitic conspiracy theories by antisemitism deniers in the Party’, but don’t actually give any examples. Hmm.
And at the end of the article – as per usual – they mention the EHRC report, and that ‘The Labour Party was found by the EHRC to have engaged in unlawful discrimination and harassment of Jews’, and THEN – as per usual – refer to their ‘Antisemitism Barometer 2019’, which (fraudulently) ‘showed that antisemitism on the far-left of British politics has surpassed that of the far-right’.
But perish the thought that just because they endlessly repeat such things that they’re a black propaganda outfit. Of course they’re not, and they just want to educate people.

In response to Tony and Jonathan re the Charity Commission: I don’t know what this concerted campaign – including direct action – would consist of or amount to in practice, or just exactly how we would bring the ‘failings’ of the commission to the attention of the public, because both the former – ie the concerted campaign and the direct action – and the latter, are dependent on the MSM to some degree or other, taking up the story/campaign, and given the stance of the MSM regards Jeremy and the LP during his tenure as leader (and since), the chances of THAT happening are absolute zero.
I’m not being defeatist, just realistic.
Afterthought (re my initial post): If Jeremy Corbyn is an antisemite, as the CAA repeatedly describe him as, then he must have made antisemitic comments (or at least one), and if that is the case, then why haven’t the CAA (and the JLM and LAA and BoD et al) reported him to the police as such. I think we can safely assume that they haven’t as, if they HAD, they would undoubtedly have reported that they’d done so AND, it would of course have been all over the MSM that they HAD.
And the fact that neither THEY, or any of the other groups and organisations HAVE, tells us all we need to know about THEM, even though we know it already, and have done for a long time. But, the fact that they haven’t at any point done so is actual proof in itself that their claims are fraudulent and vexatious and malicious.
@ Allan Howard.
I note that the CAA have now taken down their list of “honorary patrons”, which, I recall, contained such eminent figures as Margaret Hodge and Eric Pickles, plus a few other “Establishment” types.
I also note that it still conceals the identity of its Finance manager. Surely that can’t be legal for a charity and seems to me to be prima facie evidence of having something to hide.
As I’ve said before, isn’t it an odd coincidence that the CAA gained their charitable status on October 1st, 2015, and must have initially applied for it a couple of months or so earlier, when Jeremy was the red-hot favourite to win the leadership contest.
Anyway, prior to now, it had never occurred to me to check out their ‘page’ on the CCs website….. until I just now read SBs post. So here’s a link to it for anyone that wants to have a gander:

PS I mean if you’re a charity, then you must be good, honest people, with only the noblest of legitimate intentions.
