Is it apartheid – what do Israelis and Palestinians think?
JVL Introduction
Most Israeli Jews don’t like their society being labelled as an apartheid one.
But a new survey undertaken for B’Tselem show that fully one in four of them think there is something in it…
They wouldn’t be welcome in the British Labour party, of course, where such a notion is not tolerated.
Attempts to welcome the B’Tselem report which pinned the apartheid labels on Israel have been ruled out of order in a number of branches with the insinuation that it is an antisemitic slur.
Are one in four Israeli Jews to be potentially labelled as antisemites as well?

Which Labour CLPs have ruled welcoming the B’Tselem report out of order?
Indeed Paul.
And have the same CLPs also rejected the more recent HRW report?
[CLPs have not been meeting because of the elections. We shall see what happens when normal business is resumed… – JVL web]
It does not matters which CLPs have had it ruled out of order, because the party hierarchy and staff will ignore it anyway. Everything that gets passed as motions for discussion will have to be approved by those the leadership have decreed know better. My membership lapses end of May and to be honest it can’t come soon enough. This leadership is a joke, it provides no opposition to the most corrupt government in memory then attacks and alienates all those grassroots activists that have provided election success in the past. I wouldn’t be surprised if Labour disappeared as a party in the next 15 years.
If it’s not a form of apartheid, it’s a remarkably good imitation.
