A change in perspective in the USA?

There are signs of some shifts in the USA; the frustration with and of the Israel lobby organisations, the limited support for the war on Iran and now we learn that some Democrats are introducing “the “Justice for Hind Rajab Act” …(that) would require the Trump Administration to provide comprehensive answers on the death of Rajab and broader patterns of civilian harm in Gaza.”
Hind Rajab’s traumatic death has, understandably, become a symbol for the massive levels of killing of innocent civilians. A foundation created in her name is pursuing Israeli soldiers who proudly filmed and shared their actions not only those who killed Hind and her family but those who have carried out war crimes.
Perhaps even politicians – always behind the curve of public opinion – realise that they have to demonstrate their opposition to the actions of Israel and of the USA in its uncritical support and funding of a genocide. Many would argue that the impunity with which Israel has been allowed to act has paved the way for the war on Iran and if has certainly put international law under extreme pressure, to say the least.
