The biggest test for the flawed Abraham Accords

JVL Introduction

Trump still claims the Abraham Accords as a positive achievement of his 1st Presidency but there has always been much to criticise about them: that they were a blatant attempt at normalisation and totally excluded the Palestinians are just the most obvious.  Now Israel is making it more and more difficult for the Arab regimes to continue ignoring their own populations and increasingly their own interests, not least as, eg Qatar, has come under direct attack itself.

Continuing to support trade and other relations with Israel as it is increasingly seen as a rogue if not pariah state is becoming increasingly difficult for Arab regimes. We can only hope that even these most compliant regimes will now actually distance themselves from these agreements?
