If This Is Not Genocide, What Is?
JVL Introduction
Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on Palestine was recently in London, speaking at several venues. There were objections to her speaking at an attempt to “Ban Fran” by the self named “Campaign Against Antisemitism” which regards almost any criticism of Israel and any support for Palestinian rights as antisemitic. The protest was present when the interviewer went to hear her speak. This interview and its introduction outlines the important issues very clearly as they “discussed the Gaza genocide, Israeli settler colonialism, the rights and obligations of peoples and states under international law, and challenges encountered in the course of her mandate as UN Special Rapporteur for the Occupied Palestinian Territories.”

CHRISTIAN ZIONIST USA IS AGAIN VETOING ANY HALT TO THE ACTIONS OF THOSE JEWISH ZIONISTS WHO IT IS SPONSORI[NG TO ETHNICALLY-CLEANSE PALESTINIANS FROM THE “PROMISED LAND” / GREATER ISRAEL. The “recolonisation” of these area by people of the Jewish religion is incredibly believed by Christian Zionists to fulfil an End-of-Times condition leading to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. However, mere religion confers no rights to ANYTHING – certainly not to the homes of a people who have inhabited a land for hundreds of years, if not millennia.
Nobel peace prize for her
As honestly said and as widely observed, a genocide of the indigenous people is being carried out by the ever-colonising terrorist state of Israel. Hypocrisy of all sorts is being deployed to ignore it, even to defend it and even to vilify those calling it out. Most of us see the lop-sided persecution, gross injustice, dispossession, destruction and deaths. We are appalled.
Does this seemingly endless semantic debate actually achieve anything? For example, Starmer defines ‘genocide’ to suit his own purpose at any particular historical juncture. Avi Shlaim calls cutting off aid, food, water, fuel, medical supplies “the clincher”.
I’m beyond words.. I find my grief, horror & anger overwhelming.. how anyone can suggest we who StandWithPalestine and tbh any genocide are getting desensitised and “used to ” the daily atrocities committed by Israel and whitewashed by US & UK politicians and media are so wrong.. we remember that Palestinians are actually suffering it and we must not just lie down and accept it no matter how much it is affecting our mental health.. I applaud and thank JVL for their untiring reporting & highlighting everything that surrounds this Holocaust that MSM would like to keep hidden..
From another “Middle East Eye” article (20 Nov):-
Francesca Albanese encouragingly reminded us that the darkest most brutal oppression in Apartheid South Africa preceded the sudden collapse of White rule there. She felt Israel was in a similarly weak position.
The UN member states needed to do more of the “heavy lifting”, given the USA’s ability to block action by the UN Security Council. She also wanted more ICC prosecutions of individuals for their alleged war crimes; and for Israel to be suspended from the UN, as Apartheid South Africa was.
The Zionist Israeli support group ‘Campaign Against Antisemitism’ is highly political in its activities yet it is still functioning as if it is a charity. The many complaints raised with the Charity Commissioners are not being actioned.
