More Media Misreporting from Amsterdam

The mainstream media and western politicians would have us believe that vile antisemitic attacks took place in Amsterdam on Thursday night following a football match between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Ajax. The western mainstream media have been worse then shameful as this article outlines. Owen Jones also highlights a specific example in his second video about these events; s showing how Sky News originally reported clearly, outlining the facts, the context and the sequence of events but that report was taken down for one that favoured the antisemitism narrative instead.
In this piece from Mondoweiss there are links to many more examples of blatant bias. There has been more outcry from some politicians – and the Chief Rabbi – about the attack on racist football thugs following two days of them hurling abuse and at least one act of physical violence against an Arab man in Amsterdam than we have seen for the thousands of children, women and men who have been killed or the millions displaced and enduring the horrors of bombardment in Gaza, let alone the daily attacks in the West Bank with periodic pogroms. This lack of condemnation for what is happening is part of why what is happening in Gaza, in Lebanon and in the West Bank can and does happen. This means complicity.
We also commend Owen Jones’ first video on the issue where he rightly says that comparisons with pogroms and the Nazi period are obscene. Like us he is not supporting the violence shown towards the football fans but where is the condemnation of the hatred expressed by the Maccabi Tel Aviv supporters and where are the politicians and media condemnation of the terrible attacks on Palestinians? Finally we are pleased that one Amsterdam City Councillor has been clear that Israeli hooligans sparked chaos in Amsterdam.

Frighteningly, western political & media elites are now siding with foreign based fanatical colonists against the safety of their own multi-cultural citizens. The Muslim people-of-colour attacked were actually Dutch citizens. And as a Black mixed-race Briton, I might have been mistaken for a North-African Muslim and similarly been attacked. Yet foreign racists are put before actual multi-racial western citizens. To put this in context, the BBC warned LGBT+ groups about the dangers of visiting homophobic North Carolina. To BBC and other media establishment racist propagandists, we don’t deserve even this consideration in preference to foreign white western proxies.

I am shrouded in a cloud of substitutional shame by having had to conclude, that the entire Dutch press had been totally absent, while the shameful events did unroll into the streets of Amsterdam
Absent, accept for a 16 year old influencer (Bender), weaponed only by a simple camara, a microphone and a razor-sharp cognitive observational capability, combined with an adult-level vocabulary, who was at the right time, at the right scene after the AJAX-Stadion was emptied with the ultra-violent racist and fascist mob of Maccabi Tel Aviv-fans.
Absent also, except for the accidental presence of the Dutch photo-journalist (De Graaf), who immediately did shoot-and-published some very revealing pictures of that dangerously rioting-mob.
During the initial information-vacuum, our politicians did (hopelessly uninformed) instantly rush to the explicitly false narrative – spread by the well-known notoriously Islamophobic and ditto Jew-supremacist himself, the extreme-right Dutch politician Geert Wilders – that “an anti-Jewish Pogrom” had been going on, performed by “Moroccan scum”.
He himself did join into the choir of hypocritical members of the genocidal Netanyahu-Gang of war-criminals, that instantly had understood, that they had been presented with a golden opportunity of exploiting the odd occasion, by pretending of being forced, to protect “the victims of a pogrom”, while directly preparing a fleet of “rescue planes”, in order to repatriate Entebbe-style the innocent Jewish victims.
So I have been extremely embarrassed by the absence of our national press – who initially also found themselves collectively diving into the trap of the conditional anti-semitism reflex, by loudly expressing their condemnation, before they were overtaken by the hard evidence of the exact opposite of what had been taking place.
But what had embarrassed my mostly, was that almost all Dutch-politicians did join that mass-hysteria, and thus enabling the entire world entering that false “Jew-hunting” narrative.
I am very impressed of the honesty of this article. The ignorance of the anti-Arab provocations supports the conflict. Though the history of the Jewish people incite restrictions on what to say about Jews and peoples, it may never entail ignorance of actual racism on the part of some Israelis.
