UK Lawyers for Israel call for proscription of Medicins Sans Frontières

UK Lawyers (unequivocally, uncritically) for Israel has called for the proscription of Medicins Sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders), one of the most respected aid organisations providing essential health care across the world. While operating in Gaza, Israel has killed fifteen of their health professionals, along with c 1,000 other health workers.
UKLFI seems to have a huge ability to make life difficult for anyone or any organisation standing for Palestinian rights. In Middle East Eye’s coverage of this story they note that: “UKLFI appears 128 times in the European Legal Support Centre’s Britain Index of Repression database, which documents what it describes as the systematic repression of Palestine solidarity activism across Britain.” UKLFI allegations have often led to self censorship or refusal by some venues to let rooms for meetings because of valid fears of threats of legal action. Were it not so serious, it would be tempting to just regard this as chutzpah on steroids, not only because of the manifold acts of terror carried out by Israel but also because UKLFI’s charitable arm is currently under Charity Commission investigation.

And they think they’re smart. Or do they just think the rest of us are really, really dumb ? The echo chamber gets smaller and smaller, the echo no longer amplifies or even reverberates, and in the end it’s just one or two people in a very small room. Wearing straightjackets.
UK Lawyers for Israel without credibility appear to be moving to losing it all.
Once again, UKLFI seeks to spread its poison to smear any humanitarian organisations or individuals working to support the Palestinian people.
It should be by now crystal-clear to all that the principal instigators of terror in Gaza and the West Bank are the Israeli settler-colonialists – Supported by the Israeli military .
Why is this cruel, one-sided, interfering organisation, the UKLFI, allowed to be a charity? Surely it is they which need to be proscribed or at least excluded from a list of charities? Does any other foreign country have a UK lawyers for…group working on behalf of another country, particularly one under investigation for genocide? Charity commission, do your work properly please.
