Settlement expansion is now official Zionist policy

The World Zionist Congress, meeting in Jerusalem and online in October 2020 was taken over by the right – the right in this context meaning supports of ultra-orthodox and extreme ethno-nationalist Zionist believers.
So too was the Jewish National Fund, now explicitly charged with acquiring lands in the West Bank.
In other words, its goal of redeeming land in the Land of Israel which would be the “eternal property of the Jewish people”, now applies to all the lands between the river and the sea.
This development represents yet another turn of the screw, building up pressure to expropriate ever more Palestinian land.

Four months after a right-wing wave in the Zionist Congress, a new Jewish National Fund proposal is only one of several policy shifts designed to serve the settlement enterprise

It will be interesting to read any response by the Jewish Labour Movement, the Labour Friends of Israel, and Keir Starmer. His statement that ‘I support Zionism without qualification’ locks him just a little!
But I expect not to hear any public response.
Settlement expansion has been official Zionist policy since 1948.
All those supporting a two state solution must now accept that it is an impossibility, as the Zionist dream was to own all the land in Eretz Israel, from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea. It even wanted Transjordan, the land in Lebanon unto the Litani River, and parts of Iraq right up the Euphrate River. Now the JNF is openly buying up land that is illegally occupied, so that it makes all the area conquered in 1967 (illegal under the Geneva Conventions) illegitimate. So under the IHRA definition, it cannot brand anyone who evokes Israel’s illegitimacy as antisemitic, since that is the raw truth. The JNF should now be roved as a charity in the UK, as it is breaching international law, and is deeply involved in illegal political actions and the expropriation of Palestinian land.
The theft of Palestinian land should have been stopped years ago, but the UN is far too gutless and yellow to stand up for what is right, and force the fascist apartheid regime in Israel to stop the theft and their atrocities against the Palestinians.
Ideology has come in line with reality. There is nothing more to this than that. The honest racists have taken over from the Labor Party racists. We should not mourn.
Meanwhile the people of this country don’t even raise an eyebrow. The people of these islands have never cared about anything what constitutes criminal acts in the Military judicial courts bear a striking resemblance to laws introduced from the early 30s onwards in Nazi Germany. Does my disgust make me the wrong kind of Jew?
