Question the numbers killed and continue with impunity

This guest post from the deputy editor of +972 Magazine provides an excoriating account of the refusal again and again to recognise the real death figures in this genocide when Israel knew the whole time. Anger is also directed at the many media outlets that constantly denigrated the figures coming from Gaza’s Health Ministry by implying that suspicion is needed since this was “Hamas run”,  (We might add our opprobrium for organisations claiming to fight antisemitism who accused media outlets of that when they failed to use those words “Hamas run””)

In fact the Israeli Army was briefing on the basis of the Gaza Health Ministry’s figures.  Now that Israel has had to go public with its acceptance of these figures, will they try to focus on how many Hamas “militants” were among those killed and claim that this is normal civilian to military death levels, however, this is not so as the article makes clear and it is likely “that 83% of Gaza’s dead were civilians, pointing to a civilian casualty ratio with few parallels in modern warfare…”
