Israel imprisons Palestinian children by choice
JVL Introduction
Only Israel incarcerates children – Palestinian children, of course – in such numbers. Children are often arrested in the middle of the night, taken from their homes without their parents being able to accompany them. There are cases where the children have been taken from the West Bank into Israel where their parents cannot see them, even if they do know where they are being held, which may take several hours or days. Defense for Children (International) Palestine has often advised child prisoners to plead guilty as this usually makes for shorter periods of incarceration. Along with Truthout here, DCI have also reported that in March 2025 a 17-year-old Palestinian child prisoner was starved to death by Israeli prison guards.
Now there is a new law which “allows children as young as 12 years old to be sentenced to life in prison” (my emph LL), UN experts argue that not only is this “likely a violation of international human rights law..(but) is crafted specifically to target Palestinian children, as Israeli authorities often accuse Palestinian children of terrorism while not charging Israeli children the same way — one fixture of Israel’s apartheid system.”
Shocking is an understatement. We are still supposed to believe that Israel is the “only democracy in the Middle East”

I’ve lost the ability to find words to describe my shock at Israel’s atrocities AND the fact Western Governments are STILL supporting Israel & only just now weakly mouthing mealy mouthed calls for less action against Palestinians, no doubt in an effort to whitewash THEIR complicity in the Genocide of Palestinians by Israel.. Even though most of the atrocities blamed on Hamas on oct7th have now been proven AND Admitted by Israel to have been IOF killing Israelis the lies are still repeated by even those Jews who call for ceasefire , as if they can’t quite bring themselves to admit all the truth.. the previous 76 years are also rarely mentioned and the words “Horrific Attack by Hamas ” is always mentioned in their criticism of Israel. Oct7th was an act of DESPERATE RETALIATION as the world was ignoring the FACT of Israeli occupation & escalating ethnic cleansing of Palestine.
yes Cathy it is the same MSM response the attack by Hamas ect as if it any way would justify the mass slaughter that has taken place . Yet there is lots of evidense that Israel killed a very high percentage of its own on Oct 7th . again the MSM repeats Israeli lies as some sort of truth.Who is controlling MSM journalists many who must know what is really happening . Their are signs of he consenses breaking down. At some point it will crack and the consequances for Gov world wide and MSM will be massive
