Ceasefire in Gaza? – Biden’s deplorable record

There seems to be some hope of a ceasefire; why has it taken so long when the proposals are very similar to those discussed in May?  According to President Biden, it is the fault of Hamas intransigent but all the evidence – and even Israeli officials – show that it is Israel blocking the negotiations.

This article outlines the actions and inactions of the US, showing how perfidious Biden has been and how much responsibility for the genocide rests with the US under his leadership. Imagine how much suffering would have been averted if there had been a ceasefire since last summer.  Netanyahu still needs to persuade Smotrich and Ben Gvir to back this and it is alleged that one argument he makes is that, with the ceasefire in place, Trump would back Israel annexing the West Bank.
