Bono calls for Marwan Barghouti to be freed

Of course this is an important contribution but I find it hard to believe that someone so intellectually and politically feeble as Bono actually wrote it. I may be being unfair but whenever Bono is mentioned I m minded of Christopher Hitchens’ remark: “Mother Theresa was not a friend of the poor, she was a friend of poverty…And she was a friend to the worst of the rich…” Bono and Geldof’s “Do they know it’s Christmas” must be one of the most racist, patronising songs ever written. Bono (and Geldof) are truly what the Irish correctly call “gobshites.” Bono’s insistence on the mirage of the two state solution suggests he will still be waiting at the station long after the train has departed, although Bono no doubt travels to Davos by private jet rather than by rail.

N.yahu (apologies I loathe even writing his name) and his cronies do not want peace. In any shape or form. They want the total elimination of the Palestinians, in the cruelest and most painful ways possible. Regardless of how many Jewish people/Israeli’s are killed also. They’re just ‘collateral damage’. There is no loyalty to either side. One side has been programmed and used to eliminate the other. It’s about a ‘blind rage and total hatred’ unhinged mindset that feeds on itself. Until these evil monsters die or are eliminated there is no chance of a peace ‘process’ from within. They have capitalised on human greed and enlisted enough corrupt governmental support via their ‘Friends or Fiends rather..of Israel’ tactic. The only other real way to bteak this stranglehold is for us ‘the people’ to reclaim our collective power and take much more smart and effective Direct Action ie ‘Defend our Juries’ are a good example. A ripple effect around the world is needed to dismantle thug rule. Anyway, thats my opinion 😉
