MJ Rosenberg’s latest column, reposted below, is all about the phrase.

As he says: “Paid and unpaid hasbara hacks miraculously use the same phrase to exploit the Bondi Beach massacre to justify their support for the Gaza genocide.”

The compilation of quotes seems to have been put together originally by Caitlin Johnstone, with the introductory line “Israel Propagandists Are Uniformly Spouting The Exact Same Line About The Bondi Shooting.”

But that’s a video and it’s not clear who did the transcription. So, for now, we’re crediting MJ Rosenberg and linking to his substack page.

For the record, the Metropolitan Police have buckled:

“We know communities are concerned about placards and chants such as “globalise the intifada” and those using it at future protest or in a targeted way should expect the Met and GMP to take action.”
