Ari Paul, a New York-based journalist, chronicles here the latest twist in Alan Dershowitz’s politics. Long-time Democrat and professedly committed to liberal social policy, he has been steadily shifting to the right and has now turned ultra-Trump, campaigning against the Democratic Party.

Why? For him only one issue counts: Israel and the recent attempt by Democrats to reign that country in.

The tide is turning against Israel in US popular opinion and politicians are having to follow suit to gain the people’s vote.

Some think this is normal in a democracy.

Not Dershowitz. How could Israel’s plummeting popularity possibly be the result of its actions? It can only be the result of liberal wokery and antisemitism..
