Of octopi and ayatollahs

Israeli government ministers are becoming increasingly deranged in their attacks on anyone who crosses them ever so slightly in their rush towards Armageddon. Latest victim is EU Foreign Policy chief Josep Borrell who has dared to engage in discussions about Palestinian statehood.

We all know, of course, that Zionists regard representation of an octopus as a vile evocation of an antisemitic trope about multi-tentacled Jewish power. Yet here (see image above) is an archetypal 8-legged creature used by Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz in a bizarre image portraying Borrell seated on the lap of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Apparently Katz thought this would bear out his contention that Borrell is “an antisemite and Israel-hater who consistently tries to pass resolutions and sanctions against Israel in the EU.”
