Judaism Beyond Zionism: Toward a New Jewish Liturgy
JVL Introduction
There are increasing numbers of Jews in America who resonate with aspects of their Jewish identity but cannot bear the pressure for them to be absorbed into one form of political Zionism or another.
This is expressed clearly, for example, in the growth of American Jewish organizations such as Jewish Voice for Peace, #IfNotNow, the Center for Jewish Nonviolence and Open Hillel
Some emphasise the religious aspects of their identity more than others.
One group in particular, Rabbi Brant Rosen and his Jewish congregation Tzedek Chicago, have created “ a religious space for those in the Jewish community who did not consider themselves to be Zionists”, part of the shift occurring within the American Jewish world of imagining a Judaism Beyond Nationalism.
Its emphases, outlined below, are on a positive Jewish diasporism, a Judaism without borders, a Judaism of solidarity, an anti-militaristic Judaism of nonviolence, a decolonial Judaism, a Judaism beyond nationalism, a Judaism of spiritual freedom, a Judaism of solidarity with Palestinians.

Some wonderful prayers here, from Tzedek Chicago.
I really like this!
As a progressive Christian, I hear some very strong and powerful echoes with my own faith tradition and understanding.
