Israel’s ultimate “get out of jail free” card

By Naomi Wimborne-Idrissi

Jonathan Cook succinctly nails Israel’s relationship with western imperialism, reminding us that the genocide of the Palestinians is just the latest in the long history of racist colonial projects across the globe. In this particular case it is protected by the charge that to name Israel’s crimes is to commit a blood libel against Jews.

Scenes from the end of Zionism

By Mike Cushman

Israel has long mobilised Zionist support for its policies of occupation and apartheid, well before its drive to seek indulgence for genocide in Gaza. It does this with a state’s resources (and with USA resources to deploy as well. Anti-Zionism depends on the energy of committed individuals and their small, poorly funded organisations. Jews – Rebel. Now!!!

By Richard Kuper

This is a howl of outrage and passionate plea from Avrum Burg, former head of the Jewish Agency and speaker of the Israeli Knesset.

By Leah Levane

This is Brant Rosen’s cautious welcome to the growing number of Jewish leaders who are speaking out against what is being done to Gaza. His concerns are less than that they are rather late to the struggle because coming late is better than not coming at all, but rather does the attention push Palestinians’ voices …
