Tommy Robinson vs. Palestine Protests: The REAL Hate March
JVL Introduction
Des Freeman does well in his short piece “Hate Marches” in the London Review of Books to contrast the bizarre way mainstream media treat far-right marches generally – such as Tommy Robinson’s call to “‘unite the West’ against Islam and immigration” – with pro-Palestine marches.
It is the latter that are called “hate marches”, not the former, despite the fact that the English Defence League marches in the early 2010s, designed specifically to terrify England’s Muslim communities, or the 2024 anti-immigrant protesters targeting mosques and asylum hotels across the country, were openly hate-filled occasions.
Or that the May 16th ‘Unite the Kingdom, Unite the West’ rally is racist to its core.
The Double Down News video below reminds us of the hate-fulled poison which is peddled at these rallies and contasts it with the messages of peace and solidarity of the pro-Palestine marches.
Guess which are called hate-filled…

In the Netherlands the Rights Forum is going to take a politician to court for his extreme words. This politician, Gidi Markuszower, told a reporter that “The Dutch government should stop Palestinian refugees at its border with violence, with violence, with maybe even móre violence than the violence that made them flee their homes”

This court case will be a good thing of course, but i do wonder why western governments are not held responsible for their blatant complicity in facilitating, supporting and whitewashing Israeli war crimes and crimes against humanity. They, with Spain as somewhat an exemption, break international law and breaking a law is a criminal act. The criminal must be held accountable.
There is something missing in the brains of the Tory leader, the Tory Work and Pensions Secretary, and those who fail to see and acknowledge the hate openly expressed by ‘Tommy Robinson’, Musk and those on the platform at their marches. It’s pretty clear that it is not possible to get those two top Tories to admit the ‘bleeding’ obvious’. But then there’s none so blind as those who will not see. Oh for a socialist Labour leader and cabinet.
Tommy Robinson is odious, but is he the real enemy, or is it the genocidal Labour Party/establishment ? For all the posturing Robinson does about being anti ruling class, he’s certainly on the same page as them as far as foreign policy goes, or at least being Zionist, but he’s not the one who sets the agenda, that’s Labour, so wonder if protesting against him, as sordid as he is, is worth while.
