Huge rally against the far right in central London on Saturday 28th March

The Together Alliance march on Saturday was a huge triumph, with organisers claiming half-a-million people on the streets.

Jewish groups were well represented both as members of the Palestine Bloc and as a contingent in the Migrants and Refugees Bloc.

Police estimates of numbers usually downplay the number present but their attempt to claim there were only 50,000  is risible.

What is more surprising – at least to this naive web editor – is that papers like the Guardian should give such limited coverage to what represents the cutting edge of the fight against Reform and the far right, a fight to which the Guardian is supposedly committed.
