The ongoing weaponisation of antisemitism -– more from Canada

JVL Introduction

Independent Jewish Voices Canada reports on an emergency online “summit” on antisemitism hosted by the federal Ministry of Diversity, Inclusion and Youth.

So diverse was it that IJV Canada was excluded, as were reps of over 160 Canadian Jewish academics who had signed a letter against the IHRA definition of antisemitism.

Instead of open debate, a rally of the like-minded was given free rein to discriminate against other Jews, blame antisemitism on the left, claim that only Jews (and a very particular selection of them at that) can define antisemitism and to push the enforcement of the IHRA definition of antisemitism as the only way to fight it.

In this report of the event, IJV Canada answers back.
