Apologies for yet another story about BBC bias.
But as the BBC itself simply swots away all criticism no matter how reasoned and evidence-based – and also cries foul and suggests there are “conspiracy theories” about them on social media – it is important, once again, to keep setting the record straight.

Anyone with a brain and a pulse who follows TV and print journalism and tries to make sense of current events knows that these allegations of the negligence and bias of our prestige journalists are accurate. Something is going to have to give.

A useful piece, especially the stats at the end. But not strengthened by its attempt to ‘swat away’ the mural issue. Please take a look at JVL’s own rebuttal over the mural, which presents a far more careful and in-depth discussion around the mural and Corbyn’s actions. It is outrageous that the mural received hugely more coverage than appalling open racism by Johnston, and accounts of mass murder and oppression in many parts of the world, which have been condemned by Corbyn, but havent raised a flicker from Johnston. Nevertheless, the case FOR Corbyn and against indisputably egregious media bias, including at the BBC, is not strengthened by such dismissiveness.
Perhaps if the BBC had spent more time reporting on Exeter Synagogue being fire bombed by a crazed far right extremist in July 2019 than it did about Jeremy Corbyn failing to sufficiently dislike a mural that was painted out 8 years ago, then we would have a clearer working definition of anti semitism.
