Seven Rabbis in Portland, Oregon have demanded that Federal forces sent in by Trump, should be removed from the city.
These rabbis associate completely with the Black Lives Matter movement’s goal of criminal justice reform. They have been part of the Portland Interfaith Clergy Resistance to protest against police brutality, the militarisation of the police, racism, and more.
The appearance of federal forces has, sadly, encouraged white nationalists – and been accompanied by manifestations of antisemitism as well.
