  • Much as I concur with the analysis of Johnson’s right wing revolution I wonder how Oborne came to miss the right wing revolution of the fascist parties. After all Mussolini, Hitler and Franco espoused a right wing revolutionary philosophy in the open which was more than a rejection of Marxism..

  • I was thinking the same as Frank Land. I would also take umbrage with Oborne’s description of the Conservatives as party of tolerance. It’s history belies the absurdity of the claim. I do however rate Oborne as a commentator generally, having read both ‘The Triumph of the Political Class’ and ‘The Rise of Political Lying’. These are dark times indeed, particularly if you are not part of the right-wing project now gathering steam in Westminster.
