More questions about the MP for North Durham

JVL Introduction

Elected on a much reduced Labour vote after a secretive selection process excluding members of the North Durham constituency party; likely to lose more votes for lining up behind the government’s cut in winter fuel payments for pensioners;  funded by outsiders including a prominent pro-Israel lobbyist; facing rebellion from local councillors appalled at his support for Israel during the ongoing genocide. This is the third in a series of investigations by Press Gang into MP Luke Akehurst, one of Israel’s most bullish non-Jewish defenders. What more remains to be revealed?

Parachute Luke: Tel Aviv South

LUKE AKEHURST is the new Labour MP for North Durham.
He says he is “part of the furniture of the pro-Israel movement in the UK”.
“Parachuted” into the constituency by the Starmer regime, Akehurst’s election was an unusual affair.
Just three people chose him as the candidate.
Just seven donors, many of them pro-Israel, provided most of his campaign funds.
There is a question mark over two of these gifts:
— did Akehurst break House of Commons rules when he accepted a donation from a foreign national?
— and did he fail to register a gift from an important pro-Israel lobbyist?

  • “A single conservative candidate would have beaten him by 619 votes.”

    In theory.

The cost of leaving the Winter Fuel Allowance unchanged is £1.5 billion a year.
Military aid to Ukraine: £3 billion a year.

The people of the Ukraine are being cynically used in the war against Russia. The British government supports poisoning them with depleted uranium—a very curious way of showing support.

  • Another appalling story about a dictatorial party which is so unfit to govern, which forces noxious establishment placemen onto voters. It is so hypocritical about everything which it does. It is observably incompeten. It is such rubbish.

  • Actually there DOES remain more to be revealed. Luke akehurst’s early history as election agent in Holborn and St Pancras includes some really shameful incidents and associates. When he returned as candidate for NEC and other posts, his vote was always the absolute lowest. There is much still to tell. How long?

  • All journalistic endeavours at exposing who Akehurst really is must be applauded. The man represents the very worst of the current UK government. The sooner he is exposed and gone the better!

  • I agree with all the above comments. I would like to know why the person gave a thumbs down to Tony’s statement? It was a very accurate comment, so I’m puzzled.
