Knesset: how dare you suggest we stop killing children?

We know that people are being burned alive in Gaza, in large numbers. It is shocking that it happens and it is shocking to witness – as we all do, if we care – on our mobile phones. This is not accidental or hidden from politicians who know full well – and mostly welcome – the heinous acts carried out by the “most moral army in the world” (sic) by far too many Jewish members of the Israeli Knesset (parliament). When Arab MKs try to raise their concerns, they are met with derision at best. Below MK Ahmed Tibi describes two occasions that occurred just in May this year. When he spoke, reminding the Knesset that children were being killed and that they were innocent, the chamber erupted into uproar and elicited this response from an MK from a Party within the ruling coalition. “What is being done in Gaza, it’s a pity that worse isn’t done. There are no innocents. Yes, children should be killed. Because they serve as a human shield.”
On the second occasion, daring to day that there had been no achievements from the war “Only killing, only bombings, only war against civilians” Tibi’s colleague was removed from the Chamber!
And our governments in the so called civilised “west” say nothing about this; about the lack of democracy and accountability but instead continue to supply weapons, to refuse to call this a genocide and, if you represent the USA at the UN, continue to veto resolutions calling for a ceasefire, ostensibly, because an explicit condemnation of Hamas was not included. How much longer is this smokescreen going to be used? How many more Palestinians are to be killed, maimed, brutalised and traumatised?

Brave people speak out, history records their words and shows us the images but when will it end?
What we are witnessing is the Nazification of Israel.
We should bear in mind that the IHRA misdefinition of anti-Semitism calls comparisons between Israeli policy and the Nazis antisemitic’. Can anyone now doubt that it is merely a statement of fact? That Israel’s weaponisation of the Holocaust has simply resulted in it feeling entitled to adopt the same policies and ideology of the untermenschen taken to the extremes of extermination?
When I wrote my book ‘Zionism During the Holocaust’ some of those who gave me blurbs were worried at the repercussions of praising a book which compared Zionism to Nazism.
Can anyone doubt that if anything my comparisons were too mild?
Thank you for speaking out publicly. You must elevate your voice as an Israeli Jew and help open the eyes of world leaders and media.
I have read many books about the holocaust; biographies of Hitler, Himmler Heydrich, Eichmann, and about the prisons; Auschwitz Belzec, Sobibor, Treblinka, Majdanek; about the ordnungspolizei and the einsatzgruppen. As well I have watched numerous videos of Jewish survivor interviews on the Shoah website. My interest and sympathy for the jews in Israel is waning. They are walking down the pathway trodden by the Nazis.
