Israel’s hysterical reaction to UK sanctions on settlements

A cautious welcome by Palestinians for the UK’s moderate sanctions comes with concerns that they may also have come too late That they matter can be shown by Israel’s (and most of the Jewish Establishment’s) hysterical reaction to them; as though the world can continue to “tut tut” about settler violence, for example, but should DO nothing, zilch, nada.
This article focuses on the Israeli government’s response (that it headlines as a “war on Britain”), its predictable and deplorable weaponisation of antisemitism as well as saying that the Malvinas belong to Argentina. (By the way, I am still waiting for someone to tell me exactly how these sanctions make British Jews more vulnerable). The article also looks at why more is needed, notes what was missing and that these modest sanctions are widely reported whereas as those announced regarding Iran are not.

As the UK sanctions West Bank settlements, Israeli politicians and the lobby are weaponising antisemitism to defend the occupation and evade accountability.

70% of Gaza has visibly been destroyed and ethnically-cleansed of Palestinians on Satanyahu ‘s orders and Smotrich is proposing that European countries each take a few tens of thousands of Palestinians from the remaining thirty percent. This is a blatant case of ethnic cleansing and one which demands action from signatories of the Universal Declaration on Human Rights. The UK and allies’ bombed Serbian positions to stop genocide in the former Yugoslavia. Never mind sanctions on the occupied W Bank and on the ethnic cleansing, genocidal terrorists armed by Ben G’vir, ISRAEL is clearly responsible for the ethnic cleansing and genocide in Gaza and subjected to boycotts and sanctions. It will be difficult to impose such measures on partner-in-crime, the USA, but the country must face a barrage of diplomatic measures.
In not going further with S,B&D who or what are is our government afraid of? How is it that our government can act decisively against Russia, Serbia, Iran and South Africa but are scared of saying and doing the wrong thing in the face of Israel’s inhumanity.
