  • In Haaretz last week Gideon Levy summed up how appropriate it was for this monster to head Yad Vashem – perhaps he could arrange guided tours to include Deir Yassin – and perhaps instal a statue of Begin at Kfar Shaul – the Israeli psychotherapeutic clinic built on the ruins of Deir Yassin. But I suppose there are already too many statues of this fascist mass murderer in Israel already.
    But don’t worry – in the UK the mass media are wholly dominated by worship of this racist state – more so than in Israel itself. Truly, the UK is a country Pompeo can be proud of. And Starmer, too, of course..

  • Does this politicization of the Holocaust extend to the proposal to construct a Holocaust Memorial and Museum next to Parliament on the grounds of the Royal Park, Victoria Tower Gardens? How will this be received?

  • If the image which heads this article does indeed come from the Holocaust museum, am I the only one to think that it looks more like a memorial to Nazism? I appreciate that the (inverted) swastika is not something to be air-brushed out, but for it to be displayed with quite that much prominence?
