Two British MPs who have been vocal about Palestine visited the West Bank and said “nothing could have prepared them for their first-hand experience of occupation. It was an erosion of hope. We witnessed relentless, humiliating conditions. Without international intervention, the West Bank could face a humanitarian catastrophe like Gaza,” Adam said.”
Two other British MPs had been denied entry to Israel and on this visit Shockat Adam, one of the Independent MPs elected last July was denied entry to the Al Aqa Mosque and compound via the gate controlled by Israel because he is Muslim even as large numbers of Jewish Israeli settlers were allowed in.
Their experience was similar to that of many visitors, however well informed about the nature of Israel’s occupation, witnessing this yourself is shocking. Israel’s violations of international law are well documented not least by the Israeli Human Rights organisation BT’Selem and yet they continue with little or no sanction.

Glad at least 2 MPs were able to get in and see some of the horrors of Israel’s illegal Occupation.
Could they organise briefing sessions for other MPs, Lords and parliamentary staff (secretaries, librarians etc) when they get back? There are very important political decisions to be made soon – eg on removing the proscription of Hamas as a terror organisation and on backing France’s support for a Palestinian state (in June?).
The psychopathic elite in Israel have turned the vast majority of Israelis into hardcore sadists who gleefully lap up the humiliation of Palestinians and the violence against them. And the indoctrination begins at a very early age with each and every generation.
I mean what other country on this planet has observation points people can visit and watch and cheer people being bombed:

PS Yes, I’m sure that most people who follow JVL and other independent news sites are aware of this (and Guardian readers in this instance), but the vast majority of the population in Britain are completely oblivious, thanks to most of the MSM blanking it. I wonder if they’d blank it if Russia had the same-such viewing points overlooking Ukraine? We all know the answer to that one of course!
