Don’t Look Away

JVL Introduction

A haunting blog in the London Review of Books by Palestinian novelist Selma Dabbagh wondering, as she opens her essay, “whether there is a right way to respond to grief, to loss, to a risk of genocide of one’s people.”

In a collage of aperçus and insights she offers us some perspective on the unbearable reality we are witnessing and living through, and so many Palestinians are witnessing and dying through.
