A Concentration Camp is a war crime not humanitarianism!

Israel’s cruel, despicable, illegal proposal to build a “Humanitarian” City on the ruins of Rafah should have unleashed not only condemnation but also action by the rest of the world’s leaders.  Note that even former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, from the same Likud Party as Netanyahu, considers that this would be a concentration camp for Palestinians.

While the politicians of the world have almost all allowed Israel to push the boundaries further and further without consequence Israel’s war crimes will continue.  This is ethnic cleansing on a great scale. Israeli lawyers also oppose this but while Trump seems to be the only voice that matters but he is unlikely to act against this given he is creating his own concentration camps in the USA and prefers instead to sanction Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on Palestine who does actually operate within and demand that others operate within the framework of international law.

Palestinians in Gaza are absolutely exhausted – physically and mentally – and as this article shows, most cannot face another displacement. Who would choose to be displaced to a prison where you will be vetted before being allowed in and then not allowed to leave unless it is to another country?  I do not know how I am writing this without screaming – and why are our so called leaders still not taking action?

As always it is down to us, to the people, to keep on protesting, lobbying and demanding sanctions.  At this desperate, heartbreaking time; we have no choice,  despair is impossible.
