Keir Starmer Is failing to defend our human rights
JVL Introduction
Elspeth Webb argues that the Labour party is acting as if antisemitism is de facto a more important form of racism than any other, and a more important protected characteristic than any other.
As such, the need to eradicate it from the Party has trumped all other equality and social justice requirements.

Keir Starmer Is failing to defend our human rights
This is a time we need an opposition to be unequivocally clear in their support for human rights and the underlying principles of equality. But instead, we see a failed response from UK Labour rooted in its own antisemitism crisis

He’s failing in every aspect of being a labour leader, the main thing being, he’s a tory and not a socialist.
If anyone wants a perfect example of ‘cognitive dissonance’ all they need do is look at Keir Starmer, who one hand talks about democracy and human rights yet on the other he supports the racism and apartheid of Israel. Starmer oozes falseness.
The reason he has targeted Jewish Socialists for suspension and expulsion from the LP is because he knows their opinions carry authenticity and weight when it comes to discussing the issue of antiSemitism, vis a vis the attacks on Jeremy Corbyn. He was asked by a caller tonight on Radio Merseyside why he had withdrawn the whip from Jeremy Corbyn and he came out with nothing but waffle.
Contrast his visit to Liverpool today with that of a visit from Jeremy when he became leader. Thousands and thousands filled the streets to welcome Jeremy, yet not one single person turned up for Starmer who was whisked in and out of Radio Merseyside by the back door in case he was challenged.
The coup that has resulted in the undermining and takeover of the Labour Party by Starmer and his cronies, together with Britain’s undemocratic electoral system, have brought about a situation whereby the British people have been left without choice and without power. The Labour party is systematically removing from its membership anyone with genuine principles in favour of centrally controlled careerist zombies. False accusations of anti-semitism were the chosen method for undermining Jeremy Corbyn. This and other methods will be used against others of principle still remaining in the party. If there is no place for someone with the integrity and honesty of Jeremy within its ranks, then the party is truly finished.
