The deep polarisation of Jewish society in Israel over the past eight months is spilling over into the United States.
Liberal Zionist group J Street has been viciously attacked by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (Aipac) which offers uncritical support for whoever is in power in Israel.
It is accused of presenting a “grave threat” to Israel’s security because it gives voice to those in Israel who oppose Netanyahu’s judicial coup.
Aipac is right in one sense. It does represent a breaking of the bipartisan consensus, long under strain, to give Israel a free pass on everything.
Not world-shattering in itself, but yet another sign that for some American Jews their liberal, democratic values cannot be coerced into support of an ethno-nationalist, racist apartheid state.

Finally the Truth is coming out about the extremism that has always pushed for the most undemocratic and inhumane policies towards Palestinians at least now the Truth is coming out because we have an Israeli government that is very open about what it is doing.

I agree with Richard Pink, Netanyahu’s Government have become so brazen, because they have the support of the US Government, either Republican or Democrat and they have the support of the UK Tory Party ‘And Now’ the UK Labour Party, why should they tip toe or make excuses, they can carry out any atrocity they want and as often as they want, so they’ve gone up a gear or two not only to step up their attacks but with much more viciousness.
