Labour’s left-wing leadership has mounted unprecedented efforts to expel antisemites from party ranks. Yet for some of Jeremy Corbyn’s critics, such moves will never be enough — their reasons for hating him have nothing to do with antisemitism at all.

This is one of the best pieces that I have read on this issue. Not since I was first politically active (in the early 1970s) have I found myself using the term “the ruling class” as much as I have over the past three years or so. It is intensely frustrating that the mainstream media ignore Jewish voices, such as our own, and erudite academics, lawyers and more. Of course, this is because the MSM is also part of the Ruling Class. This needs to be shared as widely as possible and I am pleased that we have posted it here.
Thankyou for an accurate portrayal of the situation. As soon as the first accusation of antisematism was voiced over 3 yrs ago it was obvious the line of travel. Mr Williamson was correct, but he could have expressed it more comprehensively. Front bench supporters of JC could make a forthright statement , like the many on this website, and send it to all media outlets and religius groups.
JVL please distribute and circulate widely all the evidence, reports, articles and commentary you have worked so diligently to gather and accumulated sending it to as many people as possible including Labour NEC and mps, Unions, media, broadcasters and all outlets abroad, groups and organisations so they know what is really happening and are made aware of the horrendous lies used as facts to remove our democratically elected leader. The constant BRAINWASHING by our well funded horrible enemies and the corrupt media is inccessent and relentless. The tories with their open racisim have the gall to call Jeremy Corbyn, a life long camaigner against any form of racisim and inequality publicly ‘racist’ this is so disgusting and completely ridiculously false. They are daily bombarding the people with this awful message without allowing our voices to be heard and some will be influenced who don’t realise what the reality really is. It’s incredibly damaging and disgraceful. Thank you to JVL and Leah for protecting everyone from the coldly calculating smears.

At the end of his piece, Daniel Finn says the following:
‘The Labour leadership can’t stop its political opponents from defaming the party with all the resources at their disposal. But it can still defend itself and its supporters by stating the facts: calmly, respectfully, but unequivocally. The longer it hesitates before doing so, the more damaging it will be.’
The problem is that the very MSM who have been complicit in disseminating the ‘anti-semitism’ smear campaign are hardly going to report those facts dispassionately and accurately, and most likely not at all. So how would the Labour leadership get the facts out there? If they thought that they could, I’m sure they would have been doing it long before now.
