Secretly deporting Palestinians from the USA

+972 has found that among the (far too) many people being deported from the USA, are Palestinians who are bound and shackled and flown by private jet! We object to all peoples being deported, especially without due process and, frequently after many years, even decades of living in the USA, contributing not least to the economy through work and taxes(and unable to claim any benefits). But Palestinians are among those who will face the most discrimination from Israel.  They were dumped at a checkpoint in the West Bank having gone through no process, no-one contacted to meet them and also cold, hungry and almost certainly traumatised. Some have family in the USA from whom they are separated; one had been in a detention centre for a year.

“Several immigration attorneys expressed shock and concern about the flights, noting that deportations of Palestinians via Israel have been exceedingly rare in the past and that facilitating deportations in occupied territory may constitute a violation of international law.” Not least because it goes against US obligations regarding, eg torture.
