More on Labour’s “secret” Code of Conduct

Labour Activists for Justice issued a couple of press statements yesterday about the recently published Party Code of Conduct on antisemitism.

This publication opens further possible legal action against the Party since members sanctioned or expelled since 2018 can now demand that their cases be re-opened and treated transparently, with new defences based on the content of the Code that was not revealed to them at the time.

Indeed Jewish Voice for Labour and Free Speech on Israel published its declaration on What is – and what is not  – antisemitic miscoduct in September 2018 “as a contribution to the Labour Party’s consultation on its Code of Conduct on Antisemitism”, a consultation which never took place.
