More antisemitism hysteria at Labour Party conference
JVL Introduction
The use of the word “hysteria” in the headline is correct. Threatened with an organised campaign of disruption and more, various venues panicked, cancelling left bookings for meetings on Israel-Palestine or those critical of Labour’s disciplinary record.
This banner was “arrested”. It may be harsh and crude. But antisemitic? Simply asserting that some people found it offensive cannot be sufficient reason to ban it.
