Israel joins Jewish organisations inciting against Mamdani

In three short posts, MJ Rosenberg looks at the orchestrated wave of attacks on Zohran Mamdani.

Israel has no compunction interfering in the affairs of other countries.

Latest is the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, bovver boots and all, accusing Zohran Mamdani of pouring “antisemitic gasoline on an open fire.” It follows an October statement that  he “excuses terror and normalizes antisemitism” and “stands with Jews only when they are dead.”….

His latest crime? Revoking the political adoption of the IHRA definition of antisemitism, and an order forbidding  any boycott of Israel.

Never mind that these were two Executive orders adopted after the previous mayor was indicted on criminal corruption charges. Never mind that their adoption was an overtly political move (touting support for Israel).

And the New York Times, described by Rosenberg as suffering from “Israel derangement syndrome”, has disgracefully waded in too.

This on top of the Anti-Defamation League and a chorus of rabbis whom Rosenberg, accuses, fairly in our view, of dangerous incitement against Mamdani as “an antisemite”. Just watch the short video extracts of what rabbinical leaders have said at the bottom of this post…
