Empirical examinations of the structures of power, and the nature of elites, are essential to any anti-capitalist and anti-imperialist movement. By deligitimising them, we undermine rather than strengthen the fight against racism, write Tom Mills and David Miller.

An interesting illustration of how far the chilling of debate has gone. The very fact that this rebuttal (aka ‘statement of the bleedin’ obvious) has been written exemplifies how far the overlapping interest groups of the Israel lobby and the neoliberal establishment have manipulated the framing of discourse.
