WE saw in June how four Palestine Action activists were treated after a judge ruled that they could be treated as terrorists and sentenced to a combined total of more than 25 years in prison.
Now a further five may be subjected to the same treatment: not even charged under the terrorism laws, so neither the jury nor the defendants were aware that the case could carry a terrorism connection until after the guilty verdicts were delivered.
It says a lot that damage to property in order to highlight a genocide is treated as a greater crime than the genocide itself.

We have to wait for future legal decisions – but (as a layperson) both the conduct of the judge and the conduct of the “Filton 4” trial seem unjust, totalitarian and of dubious legality.
More senior judges might well agree there’s been a grave miscarriage of justice towards the “Filton 4” and the defence barristers and improper conduct in managing the trial. The “Filton 4” might not even have to go through a further appeal process to have their convictions quashed and financial compensation paid.
If the senior judges rule that way then surely the UK government will have to drop ALL prosecutions of anti-genocide defendants until there’s been a “root and branch” reform of “terrorism law and of permitted judicial conduct.
Bizarre! The say the prison service is overcrowded and some inmates are being released early.
Yet this witch hunt to scare and subdue palestinian supporters by way of using terroism will only mean that others will not be deterred by a tyrannical state.
This use of terrorism by public bodies shows how similar this is to nazism.
Judges, police, politicians – are demonstrating they cannot uphold truth and justice for the people.
And slowly those in chains are breaking free from slumber and realising the reality of state is based on lies, corruption and stifling the voices of the many.
There is coming a time when there will be a collective roar.
We are many, they are few.
