Biggest protest in U.S. history. Now what?

JVL Introduction

Jewish Voice for Peace reports on the extraordinary national No Kings demonstration which saw the biggest protest mobilisation in US history.

They recognise the despair so many feel, but also the anger.

“As organizers,” they affirm, “we need to know how to harness that outrage and transform it into sustained, collective action.”

JVP activists were out in force to ensure their issues were in the forefront of demands:  to end the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran and the U.S.-backed, Israeli invasion of Lebanon and genocide in Palestine.

They recognise the importance of integrating the demands, making the connections between U.S. militarism abroad and suffering at home.

The next mass mobilisation in the US calendar is May Day. It will be a Workers Over Billionaires national day of action, demanding: ICE Out. Tax the rich. Reject authoritarianism.
