Peter Beinart explains in Jewish Currents why, in the American context, Sanders’ use of the B-word is so explosive. By using it the way he has done, he has put on the agenda the fact that Israeli policy in the West Bank is, in and of itself, an expression of bigotry.

really hope Bernie Sanders will be president . Will the powers that be allow this, or will they make it so he is unelectable ? He is a principled man, speaking out for the oppressed. It willbe fantastic for America to have a decent honest person as president.
Bernie is my kind of guy who espouses social and economic equality.His policies are far from radical as the obscenely rich would have us believe.
Why is it “illogical” to propose higher taxes on the ultra rich and companies to fund a social justice panacea ??
