Israel strengthens its support and protection for Gaza’s gangs

Throughout Israel’s genocide of Gaza, it has supported and protected gangs within the enclave, encouraging them, eg to loot aid.  It did not bomb places they had been moved to with their families.  Now Israel is planning for the future and has created compounds for these gangs (or perhaps the Anti-terrorism Service”) that are situated to the east of the Yellow line and bear a resemblance to Israeli army bases and at least one has a school, playground and shops. Meanwhile no other reconstruction has taken place despite the devastation wrought upon all aspects of infrastructure essential for life and despite the terms of the ceasefire (sic) agreement.

There is a strong argument that these gangs are not only supported by Israel but created by them; certainly they have been equipped by them and granted privileges denied to all others in Gaza.
