More on that Panorama Programme

JVL Introduction
Martin Forde KC and Sir Geoffrey Bindman KC were interviewed on the Not the Andrew Marr Show recently. Here is a short video extract highlighting some of their comments.
What this proves beyond all reasonable doubt, as M’Lord might say, is that this programme was a deliberate intervention by the BBC in an ongoing political attack on Corbyn and the left, and that they weighed in on the side of the Establishment. Today they are left defending the increasingly indefensible content of this one-sided propaganda broadcast.
Over the years, the BBC has gradually been losing credibility but what is so disturbing, is it does not seem to care, as long as it is satisfying what it what it sees as its requirement to act as a government mouthpiece. Licence fee payers, particularly those on the left, are largely ignored as just being a nuisance. Starmer compounded the injustice to Corbyn from the Panorama programme, by falling over backwards to placate Corbyn’s accusers by throwing cash at them.
Following the programme Newsnight weighed in with a vindictive uncritical discussion of the Panorama evidence’ against a lurid red backdrop in which Jeremy Corbyn’s head appeared to float. I was physically sickened by this appalling subliminal messaging. I raised my concerns in letters and a phone call to the BBC but received no reply. I seem to recall that the Newsnight discussion was led by a sneering Mark Urban.
The Labour party and the BBC (via the licence fee) are two organisations now totally beyond redemption and neither will get a penny more out of me ever again. Just. Say. No!
