This Double Down News production of Jeremy Corbyn reflecting on the Forde Report (and the MSM silence surrounding it) has, I notice, already been viewed over 55,000 times on YouTube – since yesterday. Yet not a word on twitter. Why are left-wing commentators now adding to the silence? This matter of undemocratic goings on in the Labour Party shouldn’t only call forth a ‘what might have been’ moment of despair but a deep disquiet for the present and future of British politics. Not cynical acceptance but the demand for better, the determination to imagine and make the world otherwise from what the Tories are willing it to be.
For one thing, might not a primary demand be to ask afresh on what grounds Corbyn lost the whip, and has still yet to have it restored?
It was the beginning of the end for Labour as far as I am concerned, it put the backstabbers in charge , I’ll never vote Labour again after more than 60 yrs of support. Starmer is a Man of Straw with about as much political nous as an oyster,if he had any concern for the working class, he would reinstall the 10 pledges, but he hasn’t, he’s a tool of the establishment…
Jeremy is of course spot on in highlighting the absence of reportage on the eventual slithering out of the Forde Report (on the hottest day of the year; houses going up in flames; the desperate Tory duo knocking lumps out of each other in furtherance of their ambitions, and in any case KS is treating Forde as old-hat. Nothing to see here, move along there.
KS is running Labour more and more like the leader of N Korea, comfortingly surrounded by gutless sycophants fearful for their political, rather than their actual lives. He instigated Forde hoping for good news but delayed it for two years, too long ago for the public’s short memories and which suited news media’s political leanings and was ‘no longer news’.
More news to deflect attention on KS’s ‘good day to bury bad news’; Sizewell C gets the go-ahead and further destruction of Ukraine.

If he is forced to stand as an independent then he should go all in with a new Socialist party, so we can all get involved

The Starmer Labour Party is a fake. It no longer exsists just as Starmer does not exsist in Britain. He is more suited to the Knesset as his Labour values are non exsistant.
He condemns Unions he condones Israel’s Arpartheid.
He condones privitisation but condemns Nationalisation.
He condones the Oppressor but condemns the Oppressed.
Why did he bother joining Labour?
Unless of course it was to condone Blairs Honour !

He has removed a man , Mr.Corbyn who has such honesty & integrity something he will NEVER achieve because he is a gutless, hypocritical, Right Wing traitor verging on Conservatisim! His lack of support for the Black, Brown female MPs has shown a racist element that is dispicable & his pal David Evans, Mandelson is of great concern.
What’s the connection with these weird men???
