JVL Introduction
The Jewish Labour Movement is a Zionist society affiliated to the Labour Party. Generally on the right, and claiming to speak for all Jews in the Labour movement (which it doesn’t), it is particularly hostile to Jewish Voice for Labour.
Here is the only report we have seen of its rally at the Party conference last month. If you come across others, do let us know.

Disappointed with Sadiq Khan for falling for this. It looks more like a cult than anything else.
A few years ago I stood outside a Tooting mosque with the local MP, selling Palestinian dates to celebrate Ramadan. That was before Sadiq Khan had sold-out. I wonder how many votes there are in pandering to anti-Palestinian bigots?
Extremist Jews, like any other extremists, should have no place in the Labour Party. Thank you for this excellent report.

Palestine wasn’t empty in 1948. The violent racism necessary to create a predominantly Jewish state has been meticulously documented by the Israeli Jewish Academic Professor Ilan Pappe. There were repeated calls at the JLM meeting that Labour should be an anti racist party. I agree of course, but how can Labour be an authentically anti racist party when it contains an influential affiliate that supports a state that owes it’s existence to premeditated, violent racism? The fundamental question for me is this “can ethnic cleansing be ever morally justified ?”. My answer is a resounding NO !
I for one do not love Margaret Hodge. She is an embarrassment and should have been expelled from the Labour Party long ago. I am very disappointed in Sadiq Khan’s toadying and fawning over Hodge and the JLM and had thought better of him. Labour needs to disaffiliate itself from JLM sooner rather than later

Out of the ten people who were presented as ordinary Jewish Labour Party members in the Panorama program about Labour, seven of them were/are executive committee members of the Jewish Labour Movement, and another one of them was their former Campaigns Officer, and I dare say the other two were chums of theirs, and needless to say, the reason John Ware and the producers of the program didn’t name them or mention their involvement in the JLM AND concealed it as such, is because it would have completely undermined what they were each alleging AND the whole program.
I mean just imagine if they had had a caption that came up when Ella Rose said her piece right at the start of the program saying ‘Ella Rose, Equalities Officer and former National Director of the Jewish Labour Movement’, and then a few minutes later when Adam Langleben said HIS piece, a caption had come up saying ‘Adam Langleben, former Campaigns Officer of the Jewish Labour Movement’, and then five minutes or so later when Izzy Lenga spouted HER falsehoods a caption had come up saying ‘Izzy Lenga, International Officer of the Jewish Labour Movement’, and so on, just about everyone watching it would have soon realised that it was all a stitch-up.
And you can be 100% certain that the former staff and the so-called experts who participated in the program knew exactly who they all were, and I have no doubt whatsoever that Labour Friends of Israel knew and know exactly who they were, and ditto the Communities Security Trust, as did the so-called Campaign Against Anti-semitism, and I wouldn’t be at all surprised if they all had a big party the night that it aired to celebrate their Massive Deception, and no doubt John Ware was the guest of honour!
Despicable and abhorrent beyond words, and none of them give a damn about the worry and consternation they are causing in tens of thousands of their fellow Jews in their quest to sabotage Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership of the Labour Party. along with the Tories and the LibDems and the corporate media and the BBC and the Jewish newspapers.
And my main point is that the Panorama program exemplified the ‘anti-semitism’ smear campaign against Jeremy Corbyn and the left.

The Labour Party will not return to the days when it consolidated neoliberal policies any day soon.. Those MPs who yearn for those times might as well leave the party voluntarily now . Their days of standing as Labour candidates are over. The Party has returned to its democratic socialist roots. My membership card says Labour is a democratic socialist party. Those MPs named in the article are not socialists and never have been. They are in my party on false pretenses. We have reached a position where there can not be a reconciliation between right and left . The right have gone much too far for that. If Jeremy resigns the membership will vote another left wing leader in his place. Right wingers may as accept that and move on.
They call themselves the Jewish Labour Movement . I cant see anything Labour abut them. Mention austerity? Lack of affordable homes? , tax exemptions for the rich? wages too low to live on? ….. I am very disappointed in Sadiq Khan speaking at this meeting of this elitist group of largely MPs whose contributions were so narrow focussed,
– and havent in even the most favorable press they have added – any positive contribution to most importantly a massive transformation of Britain.
