My feelings exactly; I was in South Africa for seven years as a teenager under the apartheid system and cut my political teeth there. It was a education that has shaped me, and the examples set by the Nationalist govt. have never left me. This all feels horrifyingly similar; we must not kid ourselves it cannot happen here.
A powerful article. Ronnie understands the nature of the plight of the Palestinians and their struggle against settler colonialism. The IHRA definition is clearly designed to delegitimise this struggle by misdefining it as antisemitic.
