For light relief, you might like to read the latest developments in the long-running saga of a petty and spiteful campaign against Michael Rosen conducted by some self-styled campaigners against antisemitism.
Michael retains a remarkable sense of irony and wit as he recounts a particularly unpleasant series of episodes in which he is trolled, targeted and traduced by people who take themselves very seriously indeed.
Michael’s account is hilarious to read, but clearly an ordeal to have endured since 2018.

What a sorry tale of bad faith actors. Not sure how Michael has retained his sense of humour through this but so glad that he has and that he’s still speaking up.

Minor amendment: I said that the word ‘Corbynista’ was used in the first ‘letter before action’. It wasn’t. What it said was that I was a supporter of Corbyn (same difference!). The word ‘Corbynista’ was used by the same lawyer the previous time I was sued! Hence my muddling of the two. Either way, clearly my political affiliation was in the mind of the team suing me.
You are amazing to have coped with all of that. I admire you. It is outrageous that today we are instantly branded anti semitic for showing support for the people of Gaza who are suffering under Prime Minister Netanyahu’s tyranny. History will show that this is the new McCarthyism.
