“You Were Right” said Miliband but they still arrested Margaret Owen OBE

Margaret Owen is a Human Rights Barrister who is 94 years old and was awarded an OBE. She has long been an opponent to the authoritarianism of Israel and been a stand for justice for Palestine. She had tried to get arrested before and finally managed that – at the Labour Party Conference, along with many others. The government is looking increasingly ridiculous in pursuing action against those who dare to sit quietly holding a sign saying “I oppose genocide: I support Palestine Action”.
