Stolen land sale – “The Greater Israel Real Estate Event”
JVL Introduction
We have already reported here that: “On Sunday, a London synagogue hosted “The Great Israeli Real Estate Event” and there were many objections, including concerns raised in Parliament that this included selling property in settlements, all of which are illegal under international law.”
It should have been called “The Greater Israel Real Estate Event”, as stolen lands were offered for sale.
Below we post some related social media posts, video proof of stolen lands being offered, a letter from Zack Polanski to Sadiq Khan, and the MPs letter of protest in which more than 101 British MPs and members of the House of Lords signed a joint letter to Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper protesting and demanding the cancellation of the event (it wasn’t).
But first we offer the Board of Deputies of British Jews statement which accepts uncritically the unambiguous – and false – assertion that “The event organisers have publicly refuted claims that the event is marketing real estate over the Green Line.”
We provide evidence to the contrary.
Note also that the BoD, given that the Crime and Policing Act allows the police ever wider powers to suppress protest, “are calling on the police to ensure such protests are kept a significant distance from places of worship to prevent intimidation to members of the Jewish community”.
Promotion of the sale of stolen land in a synagogue has nothing to do with worship and it is an affront to democratic principles that any religious group should attempt to use its places of worship cynically in this way – and that the law might even consider allowing it.

Na’amodniks joined other Jewish and Palestinian groups to demonstrate against the Great Israeli Real Estate event in Edgware.
The illegal and immoral event set out to auction Palestinian land to the highest bidder. It advertised real estate in Israel as well as illegal settlements – including Ma’ale Adumim and Givat Zeev in the West Bank and Ramat Eshkol in East Jerusalem.
We stand firmly in solidarity with our fellow Na’amodniks and activists, who faced a torrent of verbal, and sometimes physical, abuse from counter-demonstrators. In some cases, @jewish_antizionist_action protesters were even arrested following harassment from counter-demonstrators.
We remain resolute; the sale of Palestinian land must stop. Intimidation and harassment will not deter us.

REVEALED: Jewish activists @jewish_antizionist_action have shown us material from inside an Israeli property event in London yesterday, which shows that illegal settlements on Palestinian land were on sale in the UK.
Activists gained access to the event, spoke to numerous developers about the properties for sale in Israeli settlements – which are illegal under British and international law – before they were ejected for disrupting the speeches.
The Board of Deputies, which calls itself a representational body for British Jews, claimed that all properties being sold were inside Israel, however these pamphlets clearly show the opposite is true.
Post on Instagram by Zack Polanski (only page 1 of the letter is available on Instagram)
There is now clear evidence that the Great Israeli Real Estate event had unlawful activity at it.
I’ve written to the Mayor of London to ask what he intends to do about it.
Yvette Cooper says the Advertising Standards Authority will investigate Sunday’s event. That is not good enough.
This needs to be escalated to the Metropolitan Police Service immediately, anything less fails to reflect the seriousness of the situation.

So, the sale of stolen goods is now legal???
Thank you, JVL, for bringing all these warnings, responses and evidence together in your usual efficient manner. I have also emailed my MP, Ellie Reeves, who is not a signatory of the letter, and will persist if I don’t receive a reply. I also note that the sale, with its eventful protest and counter-protest, didn’t appear even for seconds on BBC London news, which is unusual compared to pro-Palestine marches. Is it possible some group prevented it from being publicized on mainstream television because a report would have to reveal the reason for the protest?
Purchasing this illegally acquired land should have consequences. Where purchasers can be identified they should be followed up and appropriate pressure brought to bear.
It’s way past time that the Board of Deputies of British Jews is treated as a credible source of truth, reported as if their self-claim as speaking for all British Jews is patently bogus. The same disbelief should be held regarding almost anything claimed by Trump, Netanyahu or IDF rather than published uncritically as is the case today. Good old MSM!
Despite regularly complaining of fictional ‘antisemitism’, an unrepresentative conservative Jewish establishment is hypocritically facilitating illegality.
